From 2017, Thomson Cruises will have six ships in their fleet with the addition of Tui Discovery 2 - sister ship to Tui Discovery. Thomson Cruises are a traditional British cruise line with mid-sized ships. They are moving into All-inclusive with all meals in most restaurants included in the prices together with most drinks including Prosecco.
As part of the Tui group, Thomson know how to provide holidays and many of their ships and cruises are focused on kids and families whilst also attracting the traditional cruise market. As part of Tui, they own their own airline and Thomson offer a great range of fly-cruise destinations including Jamaica, Dubai and the Canaries in Winter as well as Majorca, Dubrovnik and Corfu in Summer. This also means Thomson Cruises can offer a range of UK airports to depart from.
TUI Discovery is Thomson's largest ship yet offering a wide array of facilities for couples and families alike, including a great range of dining venues, outdoor cinema screen and over 350 balcony cabins. Based in Palma, Majorca for her first summer she'll be ticking off the Western Mediterranean masterpieces, including Barcelona, Rome and Ibiza Town, over the summer.
In summer 2017, TUI Discovery 2 will join the Thomson Cruises fleet. TUI Discovery 2 is the sister ship to TUI Discovery – and this is why their names are so similar. Having two ships means you’ll be able to pair a wider choice of itineraries with the exciting features offered by this larger, more contemporary style of vessel. These include an outdoor cinema, a rock climbing wall, a minigolf course, an indoor pool and a glossy atrium. Not to mention the range of bars, excellent dining scene and night-time shows enhanced by up-to-the-minute technology. Just like TUI Discovery, TUI Discovery 2 will be All Inclusive as standard. So, drinks, including prosecco and cider, meals in a selection of restaurants and most onboard activities are included in the cruise price. Flights and tips are both part of the package, too.
Thomson Dream is Thomson's biggest ship yet. In fact, it’s 30% more spacious than most other ships in its class. And not only does it give you more room, it’s more stylish, too. Take the cabins, for example. As well as being the biggest in the fleet, they come with interior-designed good looks – think neutral colours accented by bold feature walls. In the shared spaces, meanwhile, it’s got all the hallmarks of a classic Thomson ship. That means large bars made for mingling and cosy corners perfect for a nightcap. Plus, there are four restaurants offering everything from 24-hour buffets to tasty à la carte dishes. As for extras, you’ll find two swimming pools, including one which has a retractable roof. Last but not least is the theatre. Spread over two storeys, with a mix of chairs, booths and seats for two, it’s like a little slice of the West End at sea.
Treat yourself to a touch of luxury onboard Thomson Celebration. The two-storey health and beauty spa is the perfect place to enjoy a little well-deserved pampering. And when you've finished indulging in a tempting array of treatments, head for the Mistral's Restaurant to savour its devilishly delicious cuisine. Beyond these, you'll find all the facilities you've come to expect from a Thomson ship. But none come better than Horizons bar with its spectacular panoramic views and decadent cocktail menu. Go on - spoil yourself!
Thomson Spirit is your home away from home. Every little detail, from the sumptuous cuisine to the sizzling entertainment, has been tailor-made with you in mind. Spacious, stylish and sociable, the ship is your gateway to a dazzling world of choice. Standard cabin or designer suite? Foot-tapping razzmatazz or classical recital? The Captain's Cocktail Party or a Cosmopolitan or two in the cocktail bar? Whatever you decide, it's all there waiting for you.
The latest addition to the Thomson Cruises fleet, Thomson Majesty is every bit as impressive as our other ships. Cabins are modern and well-dressed, and every outside cabin comes with a picture window. Thomson Majesty also plays host to five restaurants and the full range of bars and entertainment venues – think stylish piano bars and lounges that bring you the best in entertainment. Another of the ship’s standout features is its spa. With two saunas and seven themed treatment rooms – including a couples’ massage room – it’s the ultimate relaxation zone.
